On the 3rd day the world could have received 2x4s, CVS Pharmacies, Spam, tanks of compressed oxygen, and a giant crate of BIC lighters. Together these items may be able to fulfill most physical needs of the human race. But would anyone be content living in a world filled with these items? Fortunately for us, on the 3rd day God delivered His own interpretation of what could fulfill our physical needs. This made for a very good day.
